Although established in 1991, it’s only
in recent years, following further investment
in conference equipment, Modus’ client
base has grown significantly to include exhibition
and conference organisers from a much wider
field including the Marine Industry, The NHS,
The Insurance and Finance Sector, Motor Retailers
and Charity based organisations.
Initially formed to serve the needs of the
organisers and exhibitors of The International
Motorcycle Show held at the NEC, Bournemouth
based audio visual rental and production
company, Modus Visual Communications quickly
established themselves as the largest audio
visual equipment supplier to the motorcycle
exhibition industry, now servicing the organisers
and many of the exhibitors at The MCN London
Motorcycle Show, The Scottish Motorcycle
Show, The Isle of Man TT Festival, Day of
Champions at the British Motorcycle Grand
Prix plus other smaller regional shows. In
addition to Exhibitions, Modus have been
involved with the conference aspect of the
industry, which together with Press Days,
product launches and permanent installations
in dealer showrooms covers most applications
where a/v equipment is used.
Although most of our clients need equipment
with an installation service and technical
support for their event we do have a ‘dry
hire’ department which offers an equipment
rental only service, either collected from
our warehouse or delivered to the client’s
premises. From a simple flipchart, portable
data and video projector, perhaps a plasma
screen and floor stand with DVD player or
laptop for a road show or product presentation
or a microphone with speakers to a full blown
design and build project incorporating all
of the above and more with full project management
and on-site services for the duration of
your event.
